Many things have changed for the Chicago Cubs this offseason. This week, the Smokies Radio Network will profile five notable former Smokies who will play for new organizations in 2012. We'll take a look at what's new for these players, as well as reflect on their time at Smokies Park.
Former Smokies Outfielder Brett Jackson was tabbed as the No. 5 outfield prospect by MiLB.com. Jackson played spent parts of the 2010 and 2011 seasons in Tennessee, and was a mid-season All-Star in 2011.
